Holmebrook Valley Park

About

Come and stroll with our weekly Holmebrook Valley Park Walk with Us group. We will explore Chesterfield's largest park that includes open water, woodlands and hay meadows, before returning to the café for a welcome cuppa and a chat. Please note the park has hills and some uneven paths. Walk will be around 60 mins including rest stops.

Join Chesterfield Borough Council’s weekly Holmebrook Valley Park Walk with Us group. We walk for about an hour in Chesterfield's largest park that includes open water, woodlands and hay meadows.

Covering 41 acres the site was transformed from its former industrial heritage and now provides a habitat to a range of wildlife from water voles to moorhens, with designation as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. It is also used for a wide variety of events and activities including our walking group, dog walking, cycling and jogging, remote control aircraft, petanque (French boule) and orienteering.

Come and explore the park with us before returning to the café for a welcome cuppa and a chat.

Please note the park has hills and some uneven paths.
