Carpenters Lodge

About

Carpenters Lodge is situated in the village of Marsh Lane on the edge of the Peak District and offers high quality self-catering accommodation for up to four people. The Lodge is attached to our recently renovated Barn Conversion, however is independent from the main Barn and has its own outside seating area. The Lodge is well equipped for self-catering holidays. There is a good range of information leaflets and maps. Local information and what’s on in the area will be printed for you. Gill and Steve will offer you a very warm welcome on arrival.

The village of Marsh Lane is within 20 minutes by car of Chesterfield, Sheffield and Worksop, and is easily accessible from Junction 29 or 30 of the M1. Carpenters Lodge is situated in an excellent location for many amenities and yet the property is set on the edge of the beautiful Moss Valley with woodland walks, wildlife and stunning views. The area is served by a wide variety of good pubs, restaurants and cafes and provides access to a wide range of activities including golf, fishing, horse riding, cycling and walking opportunities, about which we will be pleased to give advice. We can also provide accompanied walks if requested.
