Nestled on the edge of Derbyshire's beautiful Peak District National Park and close to the Chatsworth Estate, the family owned 4 star Peak Edge Hotel has everything you need for an unforgettable stay.Peak Edge Hotel was built in 2011 to complement the existing Red Lion Bar and Bistro which dates back to the 17th Century. Exuding charm and character and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the venue combines the classic natural beauty of the Peak District countryside with the sleek elegance of modern boutique all in one venue.
Proud recipients of many awards for food and service, 2014 saw the Hotel and Bistro presented with its second rosette from the AA and Certificate of Excellence Winners from Trip Advisor.
The bedrooms include four Suites, two of which are modern four poster beds, accessible and family rooms as well as beautiful feature rooms with glass Juliet balconies overlooking the lake. The hotel is finished to very high standard with rain showers, double ended baths, air conditioning, latest LED flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Road Directions
From M1 exit Junction 29, on the roundabout take A617 signposted Chesterfield. At roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Town Centre, Buxton A6, Bakewell A619. At Markham roundabout take the first exit onto A619 Bakewell. At West Bars roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A619 Bakewell. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the B532 signposted Matlock. Continue to the end of the road. At the traffic lights, turn right signposted Matlock. Follow this road out into the countryside for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto the B5057 signposted Darley Dale. The Peak Edge Hotel is 300 yards on the left hand side.
