Road Directions

The village is located approximately two miles east of Junction 29 of the M1 Motorway.

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take unclassified road signposted Palterton, Bolsover. Follow road for approx 1¼ miles to Palterton and, at junction, go straight on (Main Street). Follow road for 350 yards bear left (Main Street). Continue along Main Street to crossroads and go straight on and follow road for just under 1 mile. At staggered crossroads (Horse and Groom), go left and immediately right (Main Street). Follow road for approx ½ mile and Church is on left.

From East Follow A617 to M1 motorway. At roundabout take 5th exit (unclassified road signposted Palterton, Bolsover), then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At Matalan roundabout (traffic light controlled) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. At traffic lights keep left and go straight on. At roundabout select right hand lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout (traffic light controlled) select left lane and take 2nd exit (A617). Follow road to M1 motorway junction (approx 4 miles) and, at roundabout select left lane and take 2nd exit (unclassified road signposted Palterton, Bolsover), then follow route from North/South.
