About
Starting on the south-eastern side of town, the walk passes a majestic ruin then meanders through excellently restored industrial land before starting the northward leg along the edge of the western side of town.
With its high moor land, this is a particularly beautiful part of the route with many woods, ancient industrial remains and reservoirs.
After rounding the northern tip of the route we shall be rewarded with fine views of rolling farmland and gently swaying corn before completing the southward leg to return to the White Hart pub for a very well earned pint!
Walkers are welcome to join the leaders and support team for a meal in the White Hart at the end of the walk.
