About

Commencing at Grassmoor Country Park we begin with a section created from now defunct railbeds that essentially provided a link between many local collieries now long since closed.
On then to visit two of our most delightful farming hamlets, one of which boast an excellent view of Hardwick Hall, onward again to skirt around a mining village now transformed with modern housing.

We then travel through Clay Cross to the northern and grand entrance to the mile long Clay Cross tunnel before returning to Grassmoor using a section of the Chesterfield Round Walk.
