About

Appealing to locals and visitors alike, we are a cosy family run tea rooms where you can enjoy home-made cakes, scones, breakfasts, light lunches or something heartier from our specials board. We’re fully licensed and use locally sourced fresh ingredients, served with a smile.

Based in our 17th century cottage style property that we fully renovated in 2016, we love our heritage that combines well with our historic market town and neighbouring Bolsover castle. We are ideally situated in the heart of the market place behind the cenotaph, pedestrianised area of the town centre. We offer outdoor drinking and eating in our licensed outside seating area.

We have a full breakfast menu served between 9am-11.30am, lunch menu served between 12pm-3.30pm. We are open 7 days a week, serving our home cooked style Sunday Roast, served between 12pm-3pm. Once month we open up our kitchen on a Saturday evening for our ‘specials’ night. Check our Facebook page out for the latest dates.

We offer gift vouchers for that little thank you present when you are struggling to buy someone a gift. We offer a fully comprehensive alcohol menu, priding ourselves on our draft beers.

Our Afternoon Tea can be booked Monday-Saturday 12pm-3pm, we offer a ‘tailor-made’ service where as you choose exactly what you require on your Afternoon Tea. No request too small, we cater for all needs and dietary requirements.

We have full disabled access and look forward to welcoming customers new and old to our lovely establishment in the heart of Bolsover.
