About

Hardwick Hall – the stunning Elizabethan country house based in Chesterfield – will host the Great British Food Festival 2023.

A feast for the eyes and the stomach, this is an event for the whole family to enjoy. There will be chef demos, an artisan market, street food, live music, children’s cookery and foraging walks. Plus, you can take part in a selection of ‘Men V Food’ competitions and sample entries after the judging of a huge Cake Off!

There’s plenty for kids to get involved with, including circus workshops, a treasure hunt, fairground rides and more.

Throughout the day there will also be live music from top bands so you can do some shopping, grab some food and have a well-earned relax with a local beer (or two!) whilst listening to some great entertainment.

The site is fully accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams but please note the ground can become muddy during wet weather.

Please do not bring your own food and drink on site.

This event is hosted by Hardwick Hall and The Great British Food Festival.
