About
An ancient custom that's only found in Derbyshire. Heath Village has been dressing wells for over 30 years. Three wells are dressed including a children’s well.
Tea rooms are open from 10.30am to 5pm. There is also a display of art by Heath Art Group display of paintings for sale, plant sales book sales and much more.

Road Directions
From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A6175 (signposted Clay Cross). Take 1st right turn (Main Road) and follow road into centre of Heath Village. Follow road for approx ½ mile and turn right into Church Lane.
From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway. At roundabout take 2nd exit (A6175 signposted Clay Cross). Take 1st right turn (Main Road) and follow road into centre of Heath Village. Follow road for approx ½ mile and turn right into Church Lane.
From West Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and at traffic lights go straight on. Select right hand lane and at roundabout take 3rd exit. At next roundabout (traffic light controlled) select left lane and take 2nd exit (A617). Follow road for approx 4 miles to motorway junction. Select right lane and take 5th exit (A6175 signposted Clay Cross). Take 1st right turn (Main Road) and follow road into centre of Heath Village. Follow road for approx ½ mile and turn right into Church Lane.

Bus number 48 from Chesterfield town centre every two hours, last bus back from Heath at 14.56. No Sunday service.
