Three Victorian reservoirs in beautiful surroundings set on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The venue has Trout, Coarse and a Specimen Carp Lake, all available  on a day ticket basis.

Simply turn up at the fishery drive down the side of the trout lake and pick your pitch as tickets are now issued 'on the bank'.


Guide Prices

Trout Lake
3 Rainbow day ticket – £23.50 (Then catch and release)
Catch and release ticket – £15.50
Evening Ticket Prices (start times vary however this will give approximately 5 hours fishing)
Evening catch and release ticket £12.50
Evening 2 rainbow ticket £19.00

Carp Lake
24 hour ticket £14.00.
Day Ticket 9am until dusk £8.00

Coarse Lake
Day Ticket £5.50 (Winter £4.50)
Concessions £4.50 (Winter £3.50)
Evening Ticket £4.50

Road Directions

From North/SouthLeave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout (traffic light controlled) select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select left lane and take 2nd exit (A619). Follow road for approx 1½ miles and, at Morrison's roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (Walton Road). At mini roundabout go straight on and follow road to top of hill. At traffic lights, select right lane and turn right (A632, Matlock Road). Follow road for approx 2½ miles and pass Three Horsehoes Pub on left. Continue to follow road for approx ¾ miles and turn left into Birkin Lane. Fishery is on right approx ¾ miles down road.From EastFollow A617 to M1 motorway roundabout and take 3rd exit (A617), then follow route from North/South.From WestFollow A619 to Chesterfield and, at Morrison's roundabout, take 3rd exit (Walton Road). Then follow route from North/South.The nearest railway station is Chesterfield, which is 4 miles away.
