About

Our exhibition commemorates the centenary of the 1914-1918 war. Come and view the stories of the men of Brampton who gave their lives in the Great War.

Sunday 11 November 2018 - our remembrance service is at 10am and concludes at the cenotaph. At 6.55pm we will have the Last Post followed at 7.05pm with the bells ringng out for peace.

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. Keep in left lane and at Matalan roundabout (traffic light controlled) take 2nd exit. At next roundabout (Morrison's) select right hand lane and take 2nd exit (A619). St Thomas's Church Centre is approx 100 metres on right behind the Church

From East Take A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.

From West Take A619 to Chesterfield. Pass Highwayman Pub on right. Descend hill (road splits into two oncoming lanes and one going down). Continue on A619 to traffic lights and go straight on. St Thomas's is approx 200 metres down road on left.
