The penultimate day of the walking festival has a mix of both short and long walks for you to take part in.

A family friendly option is one of the two Bumblebee Safari walks which is a nice half-mile stroll around Eastwood Park looking for the fuzzy insects amongst the many bee-friendly flowers.

If you prefer something a bit more challenging, there is also a 10-mile ramble through Grassmoor using the track beds of old railway lines that explores some of Chesterfield’s industrial heritage or a 9-mile walk alongside Chesterfield Canal that covers the proposed restoration set to take place.
