Singing is back! It’s time to lift our voices once more as Gareth Malone hits the road again this autumn.
Join Gareth for a joyous evening of song, together with his band and stellar singers, performing a whole new set of songs for the 2023 tour. This feel-good concert will leave you with a song in your heart and a spring in your step.
Playing piano, guitar and more, Gareth will keep you entertained throughout as he creates songs on the spot, helps the audience write their own ditties and discovers some hidden singing diamonds amongst you along the way. Download the playlist in advance and get ready to sing your heart out!
Whether you are coming with a choir or to sing along solo, all are welcome to join Gareth in this uplifting celebration of community and song.

Map & Directions
Road Directions
The Winding Wheel is in Chesterfield town centre and there are many nearby car parks. The directions below are to the nearest car park.
From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select middle lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select right hand lane and take 2nd exit (Lordsmill Street). Keep to right hand lane and go straight on through traffic lights and round back of 'Crooked Spire' Church. Select right hand lane and go straight on at 1st and 2nd set of traffic lights, approaching large roundabout with car park in middle. Keep to right hand lane and turn right into car park (Holywell Cross).
From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South.
From West Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep to left lane and, at traffic lights, go straight on. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (Lordsmill Street). Select right hand lane, then follow route from North/South.
