Pleasley Scarecrow Festival


Discover the scarecrows in Pleasley village this year. Start from the Verney Institute, where you can buy a programme for £1.00. Follow the route and vote for your favourite when you get back to the Institute. Refreshments are available with the tea token attached to your programme.

All profits will be donated to the Breast Cancer Unit it Kingsmill Hospital.

Road Directions

Leave the M1 at junction 29 and take the A617 signposted Mansfield. At Pleasley island take the 4th exit to Pleasley Village. Follow road for approx 300 yards to Pleasley Cross and car sales then turn right onto Newboundmill Lane. The Verney Institute is approx 50 yards down on right.
