About

Nordic Walking Taster Session – come and join us to experience the benefits of walking with Nordic poles.  You will learn the difference between walking with and without poles, how to get more from your walks and why living the Scandinavian lifestyle is a great way to improve your health and wellbeing.

We will meet outside Tapton Lock Visitor Centre, free parking and toilet facilities are available.  We will be taking a walk along the canal with our Nordic poles to enjoy the wildlife.  This way we can experience the benefits of Nordic Walking first hand.  Please join us after our walk for a Nordic Natter in the Visitor Centre.
