Cutthorpe Well Dressing 2018

About

This ancient custom is only found in Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials. As in Barlow, the well dressers in Cutthorpe use whole flower heads to dress their wells rather than individual petals. The Well Dressing runs alongside the Cutthorpe Festival on the weekend of 13 July 2019.

There are 2 wells to see at Cutthorpe.
