Chris Stanbury in Concert


Chris is one of the UK's most versatile and busiest keyboard musicians on the professional concert circuit today. Whether he's playing the very latest electronic instrument, jazz or classical piano, or indeed a mighty theatre or classical pipe organ, Chris approaches everything with a high level of skill and musicianship.

Classically trained on organ and piano but eqaully at home when playing jazz and pop music, Chris holds numerous pretigious musical qualifications from the London College of Music including Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees.

The Contact Club has a licensed bar and refreshments will be available

Doors open at 7 pm.

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select right lane and take 4th exit (A61 signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61). At next roundabout (Little Chef) select middle lane and take 3rd exit (A61). Follow road for approx 5 miles and, at roundabout select right lane and take 3rd exit (Sheffield Road). Follow road for approx. 1 mile and, at mini roundabout take first exit into Snape Hill Lane. Contact Club on right approx. 100 yards down road.

From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights go straight on. Stay in left lane but, at roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A632). Turn immediately left into slip road to A61 (signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61), then follow route from North/South.
