About

This is a 5k for everyone. This is lots of people uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving Cancer Research.

5k (or just over 3 miles) is an achievable distance for all ages and abilities. You can take part however you like and choose to run, jog or walk your way around the course.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day/night.

This entry is for ages 6-15. Children can only be registered (and must be accompanied on the day) by an adult aged over 18 who has the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. Under 6 entry is free and no registration is needed.

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout (traffic light controlled), select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) stay in left lane and take 1st exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.

From East Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction. Take 3rd exit (A617) to Chesterfield then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At roundabout (Morrison's) take 2nd exit (A619). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select right hand lane and take 4th exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.
