Enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon in Queen's Park as it plays host to a variety of band concerts this summer. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on and why not bring a picnic too? Please note that concerts will only take place, weather permitting.

24 July - Sheffield Concert Band
31 July - Oughtibridge Brass Band
7 August - Phoenix Concert Band
14 August - Woodhouse Prize Band
4 September - Bakewell Silver Band
11 September - Holymoorside Band
18 September - Ashover Band

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout (traffic light controlled), select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) stay in left lane and take 1st exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.

From East Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction. Take 3rd exit (A617) to Chesterfield then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At roundabout (Morrison's) take 2nd exit (A619). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select right hand lane and take 4th exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.
