About
Following the huge success of Michael’s previous visit UK tour in 2017, he returns in 2018 & brings his wonderful show to The Winding Wheel Theatre, Chesterfield on April 24th & is joined by the legendary Brendan Shine joins him as his special guest on the night.
Michael has gone from strength to strength in the last 4 years packing out venues all over Ireland & The UK for both concerts & dances. Michael & his talented Band are renowned for their energetic performances & with Michael's musical talents he plays both his famous "red piano" & accordion at his shows. He is dedicated to giving his followers an unforgettable show each time they see him. And with accolades like "Best Country Dance Band" at The Irish Country Music Awards & "Performer of the year" at The Sunday World country Music Awards under his belt there is no stopping the Kildare man!
Michael has just released his 1st ever live DVD which is being followed by a live album.

Road Directions
The Winding Wheel is in Chesterfield town centre and there are many nearby car parks. The directions below are to the nearest car parks. From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select middle lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select right hand lane and take 2nd exit (Lordsmill Street). Keep to right hand lane and go straight on through traffic lights and round back of 'Crooked Spire' Church. Select right hand lane and go straight on at 1st and 2nd set of traffic lights, approaching large roundabout with car park in middle. Keep to right hand lane and turn right into car park (Holywell Cross). From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South. From West Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep to left lane and, at traffic lights, go straight on. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (Lordsmill Street). Select right hand lane, then follow route from North/South.
