Chesterfield Legends and Myths

About

Part of the Chesterfield Area Walking Festival

Chesterfield has a long and amazing history. Join me to hear all about the characters, real or spectral, that have added colour to the tales of our town. You'll hear about Napoleon's Generals quartered in the town, one of whom became a Marshall of France. You thought you knew Chesterfield? Think again! You'll learn so much more in the company of an accomplished historian who will weave spellbinding tales about the lives, loves and deaths of the rich and famous as well as those of the everyday folk who lived in Chesterfield.
