Meeting at Ashgate Hospice we take a walk around nearby Linacre Reservoirs and the village of Old Brampton before returning to the Hospice to explore its long and interesting history.
Formally known as Ashgate House it has served many purposes during its lifetime from a private family home to caring for wounded soldiers and rehabilitating them during the World Wars to a centre of healthcare for the people of North Derbyshire as it is today.
