Let’s look at the top attractions that you just have to see. Chatsworth, the ‘Palace of the Peak’. Renishaw Hall with its beautiful gardens. Hardwick Hall, Elizabethan down to its foundation stones. Bolsover Castle, a mansion house once visited by King Charles I.

There are views that you really have to see. Looking out over 6 counties from the Fabrick at Ashover, Spot the ‘Crooked Spire’ in the distance from the hills above Holymoorside. Gaze down from Owler Bar into the Cordwell Valley, colourful with rhododendrons. And don’t forget the view from the top of the Tower at the ‘Crooked Spire’ Church.
