750 acre country park consisting of land and water with events held throughout the year.
Lots of space to play outdoor games and enjoy the nature and wildlife.
20 public rights of way into the park offer plenty of walking and cycling opportunities and a few bridleways suitable for horse riders to bring their own horses, horse corral with accessible ramp for mounting.
Activity Centre providing; Watersports; water zorbing, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, canoes - single, double and Canadian, family rowing and pedal boats, wet suit and equipment hire, lessons, courses, boat storage, boat launches, cycle hire, mobility scooter and wheelchair hire, group bookings, birthday parties,
Coarse Fishing available in season on Nethermoor Lake, Northern lake and the River Rother downstream of the regulator bridge, day tickets and season ticket passes available from the rangers.
Play Areas - Free play area is located near Main Lake and Northern Lake. Adventure Valley is a manned paid for play area where you can stay all day enjoy the outdoors light refreshments served from the kiosk.

Cafe - Stables Cafe Open from 10 am daily
The Stables cafe is a listed building next the 18th Century Mill. Serving homemade lunch time specials and our speciality rustic scones.

Bring your own picnic
BBQ's are allowed in the park, but must be off the ground, we advise that you cool the BBQ down with water and leave at the side of the bins and do not put it inside or on top to avoid the bins being damaged.
A dog friendly park which asks owners to keep their dogs on leads and in the area near the free play area and bird feeding area we request that dogs are kept on leads.
Dogs are not allowed in the Adventure Valley paid for play area - only assistance dogs will be allowed in the Adventure Play area near the shelters away from the play equipment and on a lead.
Dogs are not allowed in the cafe, but are allowed in the courtyard seating area outside the cafe.
Miniature train operates from the main car park to the free play area from April on fair weather days

By Road - Follow the brown signs from Junction 31 M1 Motorway.

From Junction 31 M1 Motorway take the A57 towards Sheffield.
At the roundabout take the A618 towards Clowne, Mansfield and Wales Bar.
Follow the A618 straight on at the traffic lights
Go down the hill and at the bottom turn right into the entrance drive to the park.

By Public Transport-It is difficult to get to the park by public transport the nearest bus stops are at least a 1 mile walk into the park.
X5 Route
From Sheffield Bus Station takes you to Delves Lane at Wales Bar
(Half a mile walk to the park from the bus stop).
30 Bus Route
This operates some services to Eckington Way / Owlthorpe Greenway from Sheffield which is a 5 minute walk into the park from Rother Valley Way. Every 30 minutes
71 Bus Route
This operates from Chesterfield to Killamarsh, Sheffield Road and Norwood Roundabout.
There are public rights of way to Rother Valley Country Park from Sheffield Road along the Trans Pennine Trail near the Midland Public House, and near the Killamarsh Infant and Junior School. Also a public right of way is near Juniors Working Men's Social Club all walks from these bus stops are approximately 1 mile.
You can also depart the bus at Norwood and walk through the main entrance which is a 1 mile walk into the main part of the park.
271 Bus Route from Crystal Peaks and Worksop
This operates to Sheffield Road, Killamarsh and Norwood Roundabout, there are public rights of way to Rother Valley Country Park from Sheffield Road along the Trans Pennine Trail near the Midland Public House, and near the Killamarsh Infant and Junior School. Also a public right of way is near Juniors Working Men's Social Club all walks from these bus stops are approximately 1 mile. Only 4 / day

You can get off the bus at Rother Valley Way and walk into the entrance of the park at Sothall.
