Details

Expect the unexpected as you step into the Little Castle to unearth spine tingling stories of its paranormal past. Built on an ancient burial ground, Bolsover is one of England's most haunted sites with unexplained happenings, dark secrets and ghostly goings on. Face your fears and keep your head as we meddle with your mind on a journey through the castle's scariest corners. Are you brave enough to join us? This is one guided tour you will never forget.

If you are lucky enough to make it out, outside there is a host of Halloween entertainment for you to enjoy. Practise your scream on our fearsome fairground, enjoy a different kind of spirit in our haunted bar, fill up on our beastly BBQ and be entertained by our Only Fools and Corpses play in the Riding School. All this in the ominous shadows of Bolsover's iconic castle, where you can never be quite sure what's around the corner!

This event is not suitable for people of a nervous disposition, those who are pregnant, have a heart condition or epilepsy. Entry is for over 14s only and all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Please be aware that the experience takes place in the dark and that there will be strobe lighting and loud noises.

The site is open from 5.30pm to 11pm and guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the bar, BBQ, fairground and spooky surroundings for as longs as you wish.

Please wrap up warm and dress for all weathers as much of the event will take place outdoors in an unheated space.
