The Hardwick Inn restaurant, leading from the National Trust's Hardwick Hall, has a friendly atmosphere which offers a fine selection of home cooked meats, fresh vegetables, salads and freshly prepared daily specials. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available. In Winter, the Inn is warm and cosy with open coal fires.
The bar has over 220 malt whiskeys and 5 real ales to choose from along with a wide selection of wines served by the bottle or the glass.

The Hardwick Inn is located off junction 29 on the M1. From the M1 roundabout take the exit marked 'Hardwick Hall'. Then take the first left signposted 'Hardwick Hall'. Follow the lane that takes you alongside the motorway and ignore the next sign for Hardwick Hall. Stay on the lane for about 2 and a half miles. Go under the motorway bridge and several hundred yards after, bear left at the staggered junction and you will have arrived.
