Janine makes versatile and attractive pottery which are practical, useful, bright and colourful. The pots are high quality stoneware and domestic stoneware is oven-to-tableware that can be used in conventional electric, gas, fuel burning and microwave ovens. Pots are also dishwasher proof. The range also includes decorative hand made vases made to commission, and lamp bases with brass lamp fittings - ready for use with your own light shade.

Also available are open bowls for display or for serving food, either hot or cold. Brightly and individually decorated to your size and choice of glaze.

Large/medium sized jugs for pouring your favourite beverage and vases for the display of flowers. Decorated individually with one or two colours.

Large/medium crocks ideal for storing bread or potatoes in the kitchen – brightly coloured and individually made and glazed. Can be used in the oven for cooking extra large casseroles.

The pots make excellent gifts for any occasion, but I find that people looking for gifts and can be personalised with names and dates for special people and special occasions.

Prices start at £3, but all work is individual, and individually priced.

Tuition is available from Wednesday to Saturday - please book this in advance.

JMJ Pottery is within walking distance of the town centre (15-20 minutes) and can be easily reached by bus (numbers 80 and 50 from the town centre).

From North/South
Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select left lane and take 2nd exit (A619, signposted to Chatsworth). Follow A619 for approx ¼ mile. JMJ Pottery is situated on the left hand side next to the Grouse Pub and Hipper Street West.

From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.

From West
Follow A619 towards Chesterfield. Pass Highwayman Pub on right. Continue on A619 passing petrol station on left hand side. At traffic lights, go straight on (A619). At roundabout (Morrisons) take 2nd exit (A619). Follow road for approx ½ mile and JMJ Pottery is on right hand side, next to the Grouse Pub and Hipper Street West.
