Details
Built in 1719, the Old Rectory was divided into two homes in 1957. Bought by Mr and Mrs Cooney in 1982 who started the business of Old Rectory Guest House in 1985. The Old Rectory still has its original staircase and fireplace features and doors. Situated in Staveley in Derbyshire and near to the Trans Penine Trail and Chesterfield Canal walks, in the Staveley Preservation area.

From North/South
Leave M1 motorway at junction 30 and take A616 (signposted Chesterfield and Worksop). At roundabout take 4th exit (A619, signposted Chesterfield). Follow road approx 2 miles and enter Staveley. At roundabout, take 3rd exit (A619, Duke Street). At mini roundabout turn right onto Church Street, with church on right. Old Rectory is a few yards along road.
From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway. At roundabout take 4th exit (M1 North). Leave M1 motorway at next junction (30) and follow route from North/South.
From West
Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Lidl on left) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. At traffic lights keep left and go straight on. Select right hand lane and at roundabout take 3rd exit. At next roundabout (traffic light controlled) select left lane and take 2nd exit (A617). Follow road for approx 4 miles and, at roundabout take 1st exit (M1 North). Leave M1 motorway at next junction (30) and follow route from North/South.
