From North/South
Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (Derby Road, A61). At traffic lights where road filters right select right hand lane and turn right (signposted Walton Hospital). At roundabout at top of hill, select left lane and take 2nd exit (A632 Whitecotes Lane). Follow road for approx 3 miles to brow of steep hill and turn right (B5057 signposted Darley Dale). Pass Red Lion Pub and Bistro and take 2nd road on left to Uppertown (Cullumbell Lane). Follow road into village of Uppertown. Old School Farm is on left just before community centre.

From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.

From West
Head towards Chesterfield on A619. At roundabout (Morrison's) take 3rd exit then go straight on at mini roundabout. Follow road to traffic lights at top of hill and turn right (A632 signposted Matlock). Follow road for approx 2¼ miles to brow of steep hill and turn right (B5057 signposted Darley Dale), then follow route from North/South.
