Chesterfield Folk Club
The club was formed by helpers involved in the previous Attic Folk Club following it's closure after the death of David Davidson, (it's founder and organiser).
The committee have already taken the administration and marketing of the Club much further than was previously possible and it is now possible to get tickets for most concerts in advance, via the Internet, and normally, on the door.
The club's objectives are to promote Folk music in Chesterfield; to bring the best folk talent that can be afforded to it's concerts, and, to help develop new acts wherever possible.
We have a common commitment to make it as easy as possible, for as many people who want, to come to our concerts, and, we will make every effort to publicise our events in the belief that music matters.

Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (towards Chatsworth). At traffic lights select right hand lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (B&Q), take 3rd exit (Foljambe Road). At traffic lights at top of hill turn left (Ashgate Road). Pass Manor College on left and go straight on down hill. At bottom of hill turn left at petrol stration into Chester Street. Take first right turn into Club Chesterfield car park.
From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.
From West
Follow A619 from Bakewell to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (B&Q) select left lane and take 1st exit (Foljambe Road). At traffic lights at top of hill turn left (Ashgate Road). Pass Manor College on left and go straight on down hill. At bottom of hill turn left at petrol stration into Chester Street. Take first right turn into Club Chesterfield car park.
