Beautiful historic brick built Victoria building situated in The Yards in Chesterfield town centre, Derbyshire is home to The Soulville Steakhouse. Set over 2 floors with seating for up to 96 diners with a bar seating area and a pre/post meal lounge area with leather settees.

A music themed restaurant where you choose what you want to eat, what you want to drink but also what you want to listen to courtesy of the classic soul vinyl singles on our 1964 Wurlitzer jukebox that is always set to free-play for our diners to enjoy. The décor is beautiful bare brickwork adorned with hundreds of pictures, flyers and posters of the Soul stars of the 60’s and 70’s. The tables are named rather than numbered; you might be sitting at the Marvin Gaye table, with pictures of Marvin surrounding you, a Marvin biography and recommended songs to find on the jukebox.

The Soulville is so much more than just a Steakhouse, we have steak cuts of every size and description, all chargrilled to your personal preference but we also have a large selection of burgers, chicken dishes, pasta dishes, fish dishes, salad and a healthy vegetarian selection. The menu is completely a-la-carte so you can choose whatever you want, however big or small, and has ability to create wonderful combination meals and giant burgers or just a half rack of ribs or a home cooked lasagne al forno if that is what you would prefer.

All our food is delivered fresh daily and everything from the Steakhouse menu is prepared and cooked here on the premises to our own tried and tested recipes by experienced chefs.

We cater for children with an extensive children’s menu and a dessert menu to die for.

The bar has a wide choice of draught beer, ciders and lagers. We also have a selection of wines from around the world to compliment your choice of meal, all at genuine bar prices no restaurant only bar prices at The Soulville. 

Full table service is provided by cheerful, helpful staff. No queuing at the bar to order food or drinks, we look after you from the second you walk through the door. It doesn’t have to be a special occasion, but we’ll make sure it is!
