Blanche's Guesthouse is located just south of Chesterfield town centre, close to many famous historic stately homes, such as Chatsworth and Hardwick Hall. A host of other attractions are also nearby, such as the picturesque towns of Bakewell and Matlock, as well as the High Peak.

We have two comfortable, ensuite bedrooms with Freeview TV and hospitality tray. Both have their own key and are available after 3 pm. Guests also have the use of their own sitting room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

From North/South
Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and follow A6175 (signposted Clay Cross). At first roundabout (Holmewood), take 2nd exit (A6175). At next roundabout take 2nd exit (A6175) and follow road through North Wingfield to Clay Cross. After crossing the railway, continue to follow the road (Market Street) uphill past Egstow Convenience Store . The guesthouse is first right on the corner with Brassington Street, opposite Sharley Park Leisure Centre.

From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction and take 2nd exit (A6175 signposted Clay Cross), then follow route from North/South.

From West
Follow A619 to Chesterfield . At traffic light controlled roundabout (Lidl on left) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights go straight on. as approach next roundabout select right hand lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout (traffic light controlled) select right lane and take 3rd exit (A61 signposted Derby). Follow road going straight on at all traffic lights and, at roundabout (approx 2½ miles) take 2nd exit (A61). At next roundabout (Royal Oak) take 2nd exit (A61). Continue on A61 to Clay Cross. Turn left following signs for A6175 (Heath & M1). At end of road, turn right, then turn left and continue down Market Street past Clay Cross Community Hospital. The guesthouse is on left, opposite Sharley Park Leisure Centre, on corner with Brassington Street.
