Tissington Well Dressing at Tissington
Well dressing is in ancient tradition almost unique to Derbshire throughout the world. It's possible that wells have been dressed in Tissington since 1349, after the village survived a terrible outbreak of the Black Death. Six wells are dressed in Tissington.
